IV  International Chestnut Symposium

On behalf of the IV International Chestnut Symposium of the International Society for Horticultural Sciences(ISHS), the convener and local organizing committee invite you with great pleasure to participate in the IV International Chestnut Symposium. The Symposium will be held on September 25-28,2008 in Beijing.


The conference will consist of a three-day scientific program, with presenters welcome to submit papers on all aspects of chestnut, including basic and applied research in the areas of: genetics and germplasm, physiology, production systems, plant and soil nutrition, pests and diseases, post-harvest, nut quality, health benefits, and marketing.


We expect this symposium to foster exchange of experiences by scientists from all over the world and to promote their cooperation for a renewal of objectives in this field.
